· Administration duties. · Help manage day to day operations to ensure the lodge runs smoothly. · Maintain high standard in guest satisfaction and service · Responsible for following standard operating procedures · Ensure all incoming guest’s requirements, rooms and particulars are in place. · Check-ins and check-outs · When duty manager: host breakfast, lunch, high tea (do prep and host) and dinner. · Coordination of service · Managing stock, breakages, stock taking · Manage staff in terms of and food service · Good discipline and fair treatment of staff, to be a role model · Housekeeping – Do room checks · Shop – assist in any way as directed including supervising of shop and stocktaking. · Processing bar sales, stock control and ordering · Relieves assistant Lodge manager cycle leave and perform all duties relevant to the position. · Assist with special sundowners, pancake stops and Ice Cream stops.
