Job Description
Description:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs (oil changes, brakes, filters, tyres, etc.).
- Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
- Accurately complete job cards and communicate additional work requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Relevant automotive qualification (NQF Level 4 or equivalent; trade test advantageous).
- 2–3 years’ practical experience in a vehicle workshop or dealership.
- Basic mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow technical manuals and diagnostic procedures.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8 / B)
