- Matric (essential)
- Relevant administrative or food science-related qualification advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Experience supporting R&D, product development, or technical projects advantageous
- Knowledge of GMP/QMS and change control processes beneficial
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong data capturing, reporting, and document control skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and control documentation for all NPD processes (concept to launch)
- Record and track new ingredients, packaging, and process documentation
- Manage PD running cards, finished product specifications, e-specs, and factory trial reports
- Prepare and dispatch product samples
- Assist during kitchen/factory trials, tasting sessions, and analytical testing (pH, TA, Brix, moisture, Aw)
- Maintain development materials stock control and sample tracking systems
- Source supplier quotes, raise purchase orders, track ETA’s, and manage sample submissions
- Support certification applications and packaging logo approvals
- Assist with nutritional claim verification, food labeling compliance, and packaging checks
- Support quality systems, audits, and deviation resolution processes
