Job descriptionWe are seeking an ambitious and driven individual with a passion for financial accounting and taxation. This position would be for a 3-year learnership or article ship. The applicant will also be registered at SAIPA as a trainee accountant and must aim to write the SAIPA Professional Accountant examination at the end of the 3 years.The following will be advantageous, but not essential:Previous experience in tax administration: Tax returns (Income Tax, VAT and PAYE), SARS queries and objections, SARS registration applications, review of assessments (individuals, companies, cc, and trusts)Previous experience with software programs: Draftworx, Microsoft Office, and Sage PastelImportant Personal Attributes:Get along well with othersAdapt well to a changing environmentGood at self-managementKeeping to deadlinesProblem solverMotivated, ambitious, and assertiveWell presentedRequirements:Matric certificateB.
