Centurion: Oracle Finance Functional Consultant– Johannesburg posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join their team in Rivonia, Johannesburg on a remote or hybrid position. 

Responsibilities: 

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial processes.
• Configure and support Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system integrations, customizations, and reports are aligned with business needs.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
• Assist with period-end and year-end close processes in Oracle Financials.
• Keep up with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and advise on new features.
• Ensure financial system compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 + years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud or Oracle EBS R12.
• Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and controls.
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, testing, and production support.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are a plus
