Job Description
- Assist with a high volume of legal tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Draft and proofread legal correspondence and documents with precision
- Handle dictaphone typing and prepare large bundles of legal documentation (photocopying, scanning, filing)
- Manage invoicing, arrange payment of invoices, and reconcile accounts
- Sort and file documents in chronological order
- Keep things organized, efficient, and accurate across all tasks
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
Key Skills & Experience:
- At least 6 years’ experience working in a legal firm with an understanding of legal practice and general legal processes (action and application proceedings)
- Corporate/commercial legal experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Must have your own reliable transport
