About the Role
Hire Resolve is actively seeking a Unit Manager to join our client’s esteemed healthcare facility in the Eastern Cape. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional medical services and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the medical team, providing guidance and support to ensure quality patient care
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
- Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance team performance
- Address and resolve any patient concerns or issues effectively
- Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in patient care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or administration will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and healthcare management software
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid SANC registration
