About the Role

Hire Resolve is actively seeking a Unit Manager to join our client’s esteemed healthcare facility in the Eastern Cape. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional medical services and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the medical team, providing guidance and support to ensure quality patient care
Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance team performance
Address and resolve any patient concerns or issues effectively
Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in patient care

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or administration will be an advantage
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office and healthcare management software

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a valid SANC registration
