About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Manager to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Recruit, train, and ensure continuous professional development of nurses.
- Handle staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
- Implement infection control and safety measures.
- Address patient complaints and concerns effectively.
Requirements
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
- Minimum of 5-10 years of nursing experience, with several years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in managing teams and working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (e.g., BCur or equivalent).
- Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Nursing Management/Administration is often preferred.
