About the Role

Mecad Systems is seeking an experienced Site Manager/ Site Agent to oversee the full site execution of utility-scale Solar PV projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. With a strong background in large-scale construction or energy projects, we are looking for an individual who can lead, manage, and coordinate multidisciplinary EPC teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for the Solar PV project.
Coordinate daily activities of EPC contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and proactively identify delays or risks.
Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, and documentation.
Approve method statements, ITPs, procedures, and construction work packs.
Manage and drive the closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Ensure full compliance with HSE legislation, project HSE plans, and site protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
Promote a strong safety culture and enforce corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements

10+ years’ experience in site management or site agent roles on large-scale construction or energy projects.
At least 2 completed Solar PV projects in a similar leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of solar PV construction, civil works, mechanical and electrical installation processes.
Proven experience managing QA/QC, HSE compliance, and NCR close-outs.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
