A well-established Accounting Firm based in Port Elizabeth, are looking to expand the team in 2026 by bringing on a qualified and registered SAIPA Accountant.

Minimum Requirements (All Essential):
- Accounting Qualification and SAIPA registration
- Experience in an accounting practice environment
- Proficiency in Pastel Partner and Sage Online Accounting
- Solid working knowledge of:
- VAT processing and submission
- Income tax computation
- Advanced proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers at least 3 years
- Experience in preparing Working Paper Files and Annual Financial Statements
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and South African taxation laws
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
? Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing clients financial records and preparing for VAT submissions to SARS
- Preparing SARS-compliant Working Paper Files and Annual Financial Statements
- Handling submission of various returns and documentation to SARS
- Preparing management reports for the Head Accountant and clients
? Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, in-office role
- Salary package will be discussed during the interview and is confidential
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans essential due to customer base
