About the Role
The Hoof Uitvoerende Beampte will be responsible for leading the group’s strategic direction, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results-driven leadership, with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, preferably in poultry or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor senior management and administrative staff across the group
- Implement and drive long-term strategic plans, including business expansion, diversification, and operational improvements
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans to enhance bio-security, safety, and operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and customers
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement
- Implement technology solutions to drive operational efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior management experience in the agricultural industry
- Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion
- Strong understanding of operational management, including production planning, quality control, and supply chain management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate (N4-N6) in Agricultural Science or related field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is an asset
