About the Role
Join our FMCG team in the Western Cape as a Financial & Cost Accountant! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for overseeing core financial accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting annual audit and budget processes, and monitoring and reviewing financial controls to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and support annual audit and budget processes
- Monitor and review financial controls to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Develop and maintain costing models for operations
- Perform cost analysis and reporting
- Monitor cost variances and work with operational teams to implement cost-saving measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (CA, SAIPA, or equivalent)
- At least 3-5 years experience in financial and cost accounting (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing)
- Previous costing experience is essential (CIMA advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and experience with ERP systems will also be valuable

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
