About the Role
Express Employment Professionals Midrand is seeking a skilled and experienced Centurion: Warehouse and Facilities Manager to join our team. As the heartbeat of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing facilities maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. With a strong focus on operational excellence, we are looking for a leader who can drive efficiency, optimize space utilization, and maintain a clean and organized facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving activities.
- Implement and enforce best practices for warehouse processes, including inventory accuracy and order processing efficiency.
- Staff Management: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Strong understanding of inventory management and order fulfilment processes
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on staff development and training
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
