About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. As a Control Systems Engineer with AtripleA recruitment & temps, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control systems according to client-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a cost-effective solution for projects in order to meet the customer needs.
- Prepare a functional and detailed design of the approved solution for the client to ensure the effective development thereof.
- Design system architecture for software implementations.
- Design industrial communication networks for software implementations (ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.).
- Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs according to client specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and/or HMI applications according to client specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes.
- Develop QCP documentation for factory acceptance testing.
- Perform factory acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Implement the complete solution at the client and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Develop QCP documentation for site acceptance testing.
- Perform site acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Provide training and assistance to the client, to ensure that the client is able to use the system within the design constraints.
- Provide post project system support for the client as and when required.
Requirements
- Matric
- Must have a Degree Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Mechatronic Engineering
- Must have 3-5 years of relevant industrial automation experience: Siemens, Schneider, Allan Bradley, Omron, Beckhoff,
advanced Mitsubishi skills required
- Must have exposure to mining industry
Qualifications
- Completed Degree Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Mechatronic Engineering
