About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our Finance Department on a contract basis, reporting to the Finance Manager within a leading automotive manufacturing environment. The role offers exposure to an international operating context, engaging with both European head office colleagues and major OEM customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve long-outstanding items with local and international vendors, with emphasis on unvouched receipts (GRNI).
- Investigate and perform clean-up of various general ledger accounts.
- Support process documentation and review, correction, and alignment of historical transactions to current foreign creditor management standards.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of year-end audit deliverables.
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification (essential).
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (preferred).
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment (advantageous).
- Willingness to collaborate across international teams and time zones.
