About the Role
We are currently recruiting a skilled Rigid Driver to join our team in Benoni, Ireland. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods, while maintaining high standards of customer service and company image.
Key Responsibilities
- On time delivery and collection service
- Building good working relationships with our retailers and being a brand ambassador for the company
- Responsible for the general upkeep and security of the vehicle/unit and trailer unit
- Ensuring that all required documentation is accurately completed
- Responsible for safety, showing courtesy to other road users and complying with the rules of the road
- Ensure that Trucks are loaded and discharged with due care for the safety of everyone, including the public
- Maintain and control Health & Safety, Quality and HACCP requirements relating to the transport system
- Communication with management in terms of problems, arranging loads, reporting accidents and any other occasions where such contact is necessary
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience driving Rigid vehicles
- Full Clean C Category Driving Licence, CPC Compliant – all modules up to date
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Full training will be provided including Eco Driving, Manual Handling Certification and Basic Food Safety Certification
