About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Civils and Building Estimator to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in developing accurate, compliant, and competitive tenders for medium to large greenfield and brownfield Civil and Building projects. With your expertise, we aim to deliver high-quality projects that meet international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate, compliant, and competitive tenders for civil and building projects
- Translate project documentation and productivities to ensure effective analysis of requirements
- Use various scheduling, estimation, and reporting software tools to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analyze risk factors and ensure profitability on each project
- Proven multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively manage more than one tender at a time
- Provide exceptional interpersonal skills, effective communication, and lead by example in high-pressure environments
Requirements
- Completed tertiary qualification in Civil/Construction Management
- 3-5 years experience in developing accurate tenders for medium to large greenfield and brownfield Civil and Building projects
- Proficiency in CCS is essential and an assessment will be conducted
- Proven ability to effectively use various scheduling, estimation, and reporting software tools
- Understanding of competitive pricing strategies
