About the Role
Our FMCG Client is seeking a Group Financial Accountant CA(SA) with 3 years plus experience coming from a FMCG/Manufacturing background. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with a BCom degree or higher.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Group Accounts
- Manage a team of 7 finance people reporting to CFO
- Consolidated monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Ratio Analysis and detailed notes.
- Preparation of detailed IFRS Financial statements with supporting schedules.
- Assist in managing the foreign exchange risk exposure of the Group.
- Managing financial reporting and control ethos across the group.
- Financial Modelling, planning and implementation
- Assist in managing & reporting of working capital & working capital metrics.
- Assist in the costing/production of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
- Work with auditors on a regular basis.
- Preparation of statutory returns including tax and employment returns.
- Internal Audit management
- Maintaining effective financial controls and reporting processes to support the business.
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 3 years post CA(SA) experience as an Financial Accountant / Financial Manager within the FMCG industry.
- Advanced Excel and SAGE 300 experience
- Costing and Management accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Suites.
Qualifications
- BCom Degree or higher
