Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Farm Manager to oversee the operations of our CROP AND LIVESTOCK FARM in Deneysville. The successful candidate will have a strong background in crop and livestock farming, with experience in dryland cropping (maize, soya, and sunflowers) and commercial livestock production.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily farm operations
- Supervise farmhands and staff
- Oversee crop maintenance and harvesting
- Maintain accurate records of farm finances and production
- Plan and implement new farming strategies as needed
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma or Degree advantageous
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in crop & livestock farming
- Experience in cropping (maize, soya, and sunflowers all dryland)
- Experience in livestock (commercial and stud beef)
- Strong management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Being maintenance orientated essential
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
