About the Role
Xpresso Café is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and supply chain operations across the business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely replenishment of stock, effective supplier communication, and accurate procurement records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing and purchasing of stock, equipment, and supplies
- Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
- Compare pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Assist with supplier communication and relationship management
- Support stock control and ensure timely replenishment
- Liaise with internal departments (operations, warehouse, finance)
Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administration (advantage)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Basic understanding of stock control and cost management
- Proficient in MS Excel and general computer skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
