About the Role
GUDANI HUMAN RESOURCES, a global leader in the automotive and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced Millwright to join our Pretoria-based facilities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our world-class production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (e.g., Siemens/Beckhoff) and robotic units to ensure continuous production flow.
- Execute scheduled maintenance plans to OEM standards to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdown.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and leveling of new machinery and equipment upgrades.
- Adhere strictly to OHS Act regulations, ensuring all machinery is safety-guarded and following Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Red Seal Millwright Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D)
- N3N6 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 35 years post-trade experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment (Automotive or Steel industry experience is highly advantageous)
- Strong proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Millwright Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D)
