About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Clerk to join our manufacturing company in Boksburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with customers and driving business growth. Your excellent communication skills, ability to work proactively, and attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain good communication between the Sales department and all other departments within the company
  • Proactively work with External Sales staff to develop business
  • Follow up customer enquiries/queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Document and maintain all customer/client databases, files in an accurate, orderly fashion
  • Ensure that all existing and new customers are serviced to the highest standard possible
  • Develop new sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers
  • Work with operations team to develop proposals and estimate costs
  • Forecasting and meeting sales goals
  • Provide Sales reports, analysis in a timely manner to the Sales Manager

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
