About the Role
One of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Durban is currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, they require an experienced professional with advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems to ensure seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on production machinery
- Read and interpret schematic drawings
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Requirements
- 5 years post trade test experience in the FMCG industry (preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing)
- Advanced experience in industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels, MCCs, PLC basics, and VSDs
- Extensive experience in fault finding, maintenance, installation, and repairs on production machinery
Qualifications
- Matric Electrician Trade Test N Certificate in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
