About the Role
Status Staffing is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial processing and management across multiple entities. You will work closely with management to prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and provide analytical support to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately capture and process supplier invoices and bills in a timely and organized manner.
- Manage and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers across multiple entities.
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, supplier invoices, and delivery receipts to verify payments.
- Update, reconcile, and monitor bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- SAIPA registration (essential)
- Computer literacy with Zoho, Xero, and Advanced Excel
- Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within a multi-entity environment
- Strong working knowledge of South African tax legislation and IFRS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (if applicable)

R40 000.00 – R50 000.00 + benefits (as stated)
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 15:00
