About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pass Runner to join our signature restaurant team at Wild Dreams Hospitality in the Western Cape. In this role, you will act as the vital link between our award-winning kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that every dish reaches guests with the precision and artistry it deserves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with any reasonable requests by a manager
  • Be able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a waiter
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the pass areas
  • Check and ensure all mise-en-place are ready for service
  • Polish all plates and copper bowls for service
  • Should be able to carry a tray with food safely
  • Knowledgeable about the menu & Estate
  • Should be able to know all table numbers
  • Assist any of the chefs in the kitchen if need be
  • Responsible for sorting all empty wine bottles and organising the area where empty wine bottles are stored
  • Polish cutlery when all pass duties are completed
  • Assist the waiters in the restaurant
  • Place orders for any condiments with the chefs

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
  • Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
  • Must be well-presented
  • Flexibility & Accountability
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Planning & Organizing skills

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1-2 years’ previous pass runner, restaurant, or kitchen experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (if applicable)
