About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Identification and gathering of data from relevant sources.
- Data Cleansing: Examination and cleansing of source data to ensure it is accurate, complete, valid and ready for transformation and or analysis.
- Data Transformation: Conversion of data into formats and or structures suitable for analysis.
- Exploratory Data Analysis: Examine and identify the datas underlying structure, patterns and relationships.
- Data Modelling: Develop models that represent relationships within the data and can make predictions or classifications.
- Data Interpretation: Draw conclusions and insights from data through pattern recognition, trend identification and translation into relevant narratives for decision making.
- Data Visualisation: Organising and presenting the data is visual formats to simplify interpretation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in data analytics
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent
- Strong SQL and data visualisation skills
- Degree in Data Science, ICT, or related field advantageous (if not mentioned)
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Data Science, ICT, or related field
