About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, supporting both existing and new customers with fast, accurate quotations and building strong, long-term customer relationships within the private utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage leads and service desk requests related to private utilities, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs
  • Provide customers with fast and accurate quotations for utility products and services
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure a high level of service and engagement
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships based on trust and reliability
  • Work closely with operations teams and sales representatives to ensure customer requests are fulfilled efficiently
  • Collaborate with external sales representatives on larger opportunities, ensuring smooth handover and joint customer support

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the utilities or infrastructure sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver accurate quotations quickly and efficiently
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on relationship building
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (experience with ZOHO advantageous)

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the utilities or infrastructure sector
