About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Architecture to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into modular, scalable technical solutions. With extensive experience in retail payments and transaction processing, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into modular, scalable technical solutions
- Lead and manage a mature team to achieve project goals
- Develop and implement software architecture designs
Requirements
- Extensive experience in payment systems, especially transaction processing in retail environments (non-negotiable)
- Strong technical background; software development or architecture experience highly advantageous
- Proven analytical skills and excellent communication abilities
- Team leadership experience (can be minimal)
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Solid experience in retail payments or transaction processing essential
