About the Role
A leading company in the technology and telecommunications sector is seeking a highly capable Senior Data Analyst to join their South African team. This organisation provides internet and WiFi solutions to households, SMEs, and underserved communities nationwide. In this role, you will be expected to work independently, operate with minimal supervision, and deliver high-impact insights that drive operational excellence, customer experience, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end analytics workflow, from data extraction to insight delivery.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support operational and strategic teams.
- Clean, structure, and maintain datasets for accuracy and reliability.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behaviour, network performance, and business operations.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership to support decision-making across technical, commercial, and field-operations teams.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and network support teams.
- Ensure high data quality standards and implement improvements where needed.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and business intelligence needs.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst.
- Advanced SQL experience.
- Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working in technology, telecoms, or a high-growth environment is beneficial.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
Salary & Benefits
Salary CTC: R650,000 – R800,000 per annum
18 days annual leave
