About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Scaffold Supervisor to join our team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. As a seasoned professional with 3-4 years of experience, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all scaffolding and temporary works activities on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, legally, and in accordance with approved standards, procedures, and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate scaffolding and temporary works activities on site
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, legally, and in accordance with approved standards, procedures, and risk assessments
• Conduct regular health, safety & risk management reviews and implement necessary improvements
• Manage workforce and equipment, tools & materials effectively
• Perform scaffold erection, inspection, and handover to ensure compliance with SANS standards and regulations
Requirements
• Valid HIRA training certification
• Working at Heights Scaffold Erector certification
• Valid Medical Certificate (including Working at Heights)
• 3 years proven experience as a Scaffold Supervisor
• Sound knowledge of SANS standards, OHSA, and scaffolding regulations
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
