About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Anchor & Maintenance Manager Couple for a luxury game lodge situated in the renowned Sabi Sands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a couple who thrive in a remote bush environment and are passionate about hospitality and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily lodge operations
- Assist with guest relations, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Support the General Manager and act as second-in-command when required
- Maintain high standards across housekeeping, front of house, and F&B departments
- Host guests during meals and other lodge activities
- Provide administrative assistance, including stock control and orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar couples role in a high-end lodge environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and guest relations abilities
- Technical knowledge in areas such as plumbing, electrics, mechanics, and general maintenance
- Ability to live and work in a remote bush setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
- Relevant certifications or diplomas in areas such as hospitality, conservation, or environmental management (optional)
Salary & Benefits
- R30,000 – R35,000 combined salary (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
- Live-in position with accommodation provided at the lodge
