About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Sales professional to join our team in Pretoria. As an integral part of our sales department, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing orders, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that customer complaints and special delivery instructions are addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Quotations and tenders on standard catalogue items: accurately done on Sage or Excel
- Accurate capturing of all order information on the Sage system, including correct customer name, product code, price, contact person, mobile number, and delivery address
- Efficient management and releasing of customer back-orders, with each salesperson responsible for their own back orders and customer service
- Goods return for credit: accurate completion of the credit input form with the correct return code and valid reason completed
- Timely printing of picking tickets, orders must be processed immediately
- Excellent Customer service at all times via tele-sales and/or walk-in customers
- Maintaining a clean and neat workstation at all times
- Actively contributing new ideas for sales, operations, and products for the branch
- Actively searching for new business and customers by phoning customers on the existing database to generate business and making cold calls to possible new customers
Requirements
- 2 years of counter/internal sales experience
- Sage experience advantageous
- Microsoft office – MS Excel required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communications skills
- Time management skills
