Job Description

Position: Counter Sales Industry: Manufacturing Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a Counter Sales representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support at the front counter of our manufacturing facility. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience and promoting the products and services we offer. Responsibilities: Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries, pricing, and availability Take orders over the counter and through phone calls, emails, and online platforms Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately Prepare and package orders for pick-up or delivery Maintain a clean and organized counter area Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance their overall experience Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and provide support as needed Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing supplies as needed Key Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale systems Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and products is a plus If you are a self-motivated team player with a passion for customer service and sales, we encourage you to apply for the Counter Sales position in our manufacturing facility. Position: Counter Sales Industry: Manufacturing Inherent Requirements: Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for handling delicate products Stamina and physical strength to handle high volume of customer inquiries and transactions Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and provide product information Ability to listen actively and attentively to customer needs and concerns Proficiency in written communication for handling invoices and sales documentation Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including various products and materials Familiarity with the features and benefits of different products to effectively recommend solutions to customers Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new product lines and updates in the manufacturing sector Customer Service: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service and identifying customer needs Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and issues promptly Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment Sales Skills: Demonstrated sales experience and ability to upsell products to increase sales revenue Proficiency in using sales techniques to close deals and meet sales targets Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals with customers and suppliers Technical Skills: Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other sales software applications Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of basic inventory management principles to keep track of stock levels and reorder products as needed Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common sales and customer service goals Willingness to assist coworkers during peak hours and contribute to a positive team environment Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and create lasting relationships Overall, the role of a Counter Sales in the Manufacturing industry requires a blend of physical stamina, strong communication and sales skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-focused mindset to provide a seamless and rewarding experience for customers while driving sales growth for the organization.
