About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Helper to join our team at Woodafair Academics in Pretoria. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served quickly, while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Unloading and stocking vendor supplies
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, such as smaller kitchen appliances, utensils, and cutting boards
Washing, cutting, weighing, mixing, and pre-portioning ingredients
Restocking ingredients or supplies to maintain par levels
Assisting in the dish area with cleaning, drying, and organizing dishes
Refilling condiment containers and utensil bins, polishing glassware, and folding napkins
Packing to-go orders and leftovers
Emptying garbage containers throughout the shift

Requirements

Excellent multitasking ability to assist several other kitchen staff positions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
