Job Description

A well-established organisation based in JHB North is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or early-career finance professional looking to gain hands-on exposure across accounting, financial statements, and payroll within a structured environment.

The position suits a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
Process and manage payroll and related reconciliations
Support month-end close processes
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements

Skills and Experience:

Qualification: CA(SA) or BCom + Articles (AGA / ACCA / CIMA)
Experience: 1–2 years post-qualification / post-articles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Payroll experience (advantageous)
Self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and organisational skills
