Citrusdal: Junior Engineer (Graduate) – Citrusdal

About the Role

Unspecified is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our team in Citrusdal. As a recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting the management of irrigation and water systems, contributing to the planning and execution of water infrastructure projects, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective data integration and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data collection and analysis from pump houses, filters, and dosing systems to improve irrigation efficiency
• Contribute to planning and execution of water infrastructure projects
• Assist in the design and installation of irrigation systems
• Collaborate with the BI and irrigation teams to ensure effective data integration, reporting, and system optimization
• Assist with engineering projects related to infrastructure upgrades, system optimization, and energy efficiency
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide administrative support, including project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• A recent graduate to up to 2 years experience in a similar position
• Data orientated mindset
• Competent with Microsoft Office (MS Projects), Power BI, AutoCAD, and basic engineering software
• Basic understanding of irrigation system design and operation will be beneficial
• Knowledge of automation, telemetry, and control systems will be beneficial

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
