About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the housekeeping department at a remote safari lodge in Namibia. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring immaculate presentation of guest rooms and public areas while maintaining luxury standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
Set and maintain luxury cleanliness and presentation standards
Manage housekeeping budgets, stock control, and procurement
Train, lead, and motivate housekeeping staff
Conduct room inspections and quality audits
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior housekeeping role (luxury lodge/hotel preferred)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
High attention to detail and quality control
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, linen, and equipment management

Qualifications

Diploma in Hospitality Management or Hotel Operations
Leadership or supervisory training
Training in luxury brand standards or QA auditing
