About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing all security personnel and external service providers to ensure compliance with company standards. You will also conduct regular risk assessments, implement mitigation measures, and lead incident response activities.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing security policies and procedures, identify weaknesses, and implement robust changes to better protect the company from all threats.
Develop and manage site-specific security strategies for all branches.
Conduct daily oversight of all security operations, including access control, guarding services, and CCTV surveillance.
Perform regular, in-depth risk assessments of each branch and implement mitigation measures.
Lead and manage incident response activities, including investigations and detailed reporting.
Supervise and manage all security personnel and external service providers.

Requirements

At least 3 years in a security supervisory or management role is mandatory.
A Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.
Valid PSIRA Registration (Grade A is highly desirable).
A valid Drivers Licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
