About the Role
We are seeking two experienced drivers to join our team in delivering products to Fair Cape customers across South Africa. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, working closely with our operations team to ensure seamless customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to Fair Cape customers within the specified timeframe
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and efficiency
- Load and unload cargo safely, following proper lifting techniques
- Operate a refrigerated/temperature-controlled truck according to manufacturer instructions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including routes taken and any issues encountered
- Communicate effectively with customers, reporting any defects or emergency situations
Requirements
- Valid PDP (Professional Driver’s Permit)
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Clear Criminal record
- Own transport vehicle
- Good communication skills
- Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Defensive driving skills, including safe reversing truck procedures
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license
