EXECUTIVE CHEF WANTED | LUXURY GAME LODGE Madikwe, North West R24,000 | Live In | Incredible Benefits Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for a talented Executive Chef to join an exclusive luxury game lodge set in the heart of the Madikwe Reserve. This is a hands on leadership role for a passionate chef who thrives in a high end safari environment and leads with calm, kindness and confidence. The role The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, delivering exceptional cuisine for guests and staff while running a professional, well organised and respectful kitchen. Key responsibilities include • Full management of all lodge kitchens • Menu planning and development, including dietary requirements and allergies • Preparation and presentation of high quality guest and staff meals • Training, mentoring and managing kitchen teams • Stock control, ordering, budgeting and food cost management • Maintaining top standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation • Liaising with Front of House and engaging with guests professionally Requirements • Proven experience as a Head or Executive Chef in a luxury lodge, hotel or high end restaurant • Relevant professional culinary qualification • Strong leadership and people management skills • Solid knowledge of South African food safety and labour legislation • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure What’s on offer • R24,000 per month • Live in position with own room and bathroom • 36 days on, 12 days off rotation • 21 days annual leave • 3 meals per day • Laundry, room cleaning, uniform and free WiFi • Medical aid contribution after probation • 16 staff rate bednights per year for friends and family If you do not hear back within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
