About the Role

Join our esteemed team at HotelJobs, a renowned hospitality company with a passion for excellence. We are seeking a talented and creative Chef de Partie to join our brigade of chefs in creating inspiring tasting menus under the guidance of an acclaimed SA Top Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that showcase your skills and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes in both hot and cold kitchens, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of presentation and flavor
  • Develop new recipes and plating ideas, including innovative garnish concepts
  • Collaborate with the brigade chef to create menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary expertise
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols

Requirements

  • Recognized professional/classical/formal culinary qualification
  • Minimum 4 years industry work experience within Fine Dining / Top 10 Eat Out level establishments
  • Culinary strengths in Hot & Cold Kitchen with experience in plating of multiple components
  • Adaptable to working off different menus on a weekly basis
  • Effective communication skills and proficient in English
