Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, including creditors, debtors, and payroll functions.
- Conduct cost analysis and support operational decision-making.
- Implement internal controls and improve financial processes and systems.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (essential).
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, SAIPA, or SAICA (advantageous).
- Minimum 57 years experience in a financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro, Pastel).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
