A well establish, reputable and growing investment firm based in Newlands is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager / Financial Planner. Duties: Work as part of a professional team of 12 people, Office based in Newlands Meet with prospective clients (virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at our offices) Follow an established onboarding process to bring on new clients Advise existing and prospective clients on their investment portfolios Advise clients on offshore investing Assist clients with tax planning, estate planning and wills Prepare and conduct investment reviews for clients Candidate to continuously learn about markets, tax regulations and different investment vehicles Handle client queries Keep records of new and existing Requirements: Graduate from University with Bcom (Finance) Just out of uni or para planner would also be considered 1 or 2 years post grad benificial Looking for someone who is wanting to launch their career and be developed to a Certified Financial Planner Be fluent (speech and writing) in English and Afrikaans NON NEGOTIABLE Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Have the ability to manage time effectively Inteligent Must be confident to handle portfolios in the millions Must be well groomed and presented due to high network clients
