Will be responsible for:
Successful planning, optimization and rollout of a 4G LTE and 5G network in Namibia
Upskilling the local NPO resources
Central point of contact for all technical issues and Initiatives in the country.
Providing the team with training, give advise and provide troubleshooting support
Duties Include:
Nominal Planning – site identification from an RF perspective
Parameter Planning
CIQ Planning inputs
Coverage and Capacity planning for new sites
Link Budget analysis for UL & DL path balance
identifying features that may improve end-user experiences
Golden cluster concept and optimization strategy
Continuously optimize the network to improve critical KPI’s
Qualifications and Skills:
MSc Computer Engineering Masters
BS Computer Engineering
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Diploma
Post graduate Diploma in Business Management
Must have End-to-End understanding of Power planning
Must have End-to-End understanding of base band Dimensioning guidelines for new technology/layer additions e.g L1800/L2600 addition on top of existing layers in the network
Must have End-to-End understanding of LTE planning principles & SW/HW knowledge
Must have In-depth understanding of radio modules RRH
