Job Description

Key Responsibilities Oversee daily TSF operations including tailings deposition, slurry pipelines, pumps, and water return systems. Conduct routine inspections of embankments, beaches, pipelines, decant systems, and seepage controls. Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with tailings management requirements (GISTM-aligned). Supervise, train, and manage TSF operators, including shift planning and performance. Coordinate routine and breakdown maintenance to ensure equipment availability. Complete daily operational, safety, and inspection reports in line with site requirements. Minimum Requirements Experience 13 years experience in: TSF operations Tailings dam management Large-scale mining or civil construction environments Education Secondary education certificate (or equivalent). Certificate or qualification in Civil Engineering, Mining, or a related field is advantageous. Technical Competence Ability to read and interpret: Technical drawings Site layouts TSF design documentation and specifications Licensing & Physical Requirements Valid drivers licence (manual transmission preferred). Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor mining environment.
