About the Role

HotelJobs is seeking a senior, commercially minded Facilities Manager to take ownership of the physical performance, operational readiness, and long-term asset integrity of our luxury hospitality and residential property portfolio across Cape Town and the Winelands. This luxury hospitality portfolio is diversified across stabilized trading hospitality assets, income-producing leased buildings held for future redevelopment, and assets progressing through refurbishment, development, and Land Use Management System (LUMS) and statutory approval processes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule, and verify day-to-day and planned maintenance activities across the portfolio
Design, implement, and maintain formal maintenance systems, asset registers, and lifecycle plans to ensure that all assets transition into structured, preventative maintenance programmes and long-term operational control frameworks
Work closely with Operations, Revenue, Development, and Finance teams to support brand standards, regulatory compliance, tenant obligations, revenue protection, and long-term asset value

Requirements

Senior facilities leadership experience within luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, or high-end residential or mixed-use property portfolios
Technical qualification with strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, pools, access control, backup power, and water systems)
Proven track record managing preventative maintenance across multi-site portfolios
Commercially astute, with demonstrated budget ownership and lifecycle cost management capability

Qualifications
