About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Release and DevOps Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless releases and deployments across multiple environments. Your expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and troubleshooting will be invaluable to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the release calendar, coordinating with products owners, Developers, and QA
Document and communicate release schedules and content
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Automate deployment to dev, staging and production environments
Maintain dev, staging and production environments to ensure parity and stability
Act as the first line of investigation for staging issues (deployment / config / data), escalating that true code defects back to the Devs
Partner with QA to ensure that test environments are production-like

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong CI/CD pipeline experience in Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with automated deployments for .NET / Blazor / SQL Server
Strong troubleshooting skills across code, config and environment layers
Experience with source control
