Johannesburg: Senior Information Support Analyst- Johannesburg – R1mil to R1.2mil per annum posted by E-Merge

An autonomous Namibian bank, providing superior financial services to individual and corporate clients as well as international banking services by liaising directly with financial centres and institutions worldwide is looking for a Senior Information Support Analyst who will be responsible for tasks such as data modelling, dashboard creation, and using their analytical skills to provide valuable insights to the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., data warehousing models)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Client Data Support
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors in computer science or informatics or similar
• Minimum of 6 years development experience in BI Solutions (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI)
• Minimum of 8 years in MS SQL Server databases and T-SQL scripting
• Proficient in DAX (min 3years)
• Power BI
• DAX
• Microsoft SQL, T-SQL
• SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
• Azure
