About the Role
Join a globally active player in the adhesive industry as a Purchase and Planning Supervisor, where you will take ownership of procurement and planning operations within an international supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time procurement and availability of finished goods in line with demand forecasts and confirmed sales orders.
- Collaborate with global sourcing and S&OP teams to align supply with business requirements.
- Manage both imported and local supply, ensuring full compliance with customs, excise, and import regulations.
- Oversee logistics coordination, customs clearance, and end-to-end order tracking through to dispatch.
- Utilize MRP systems to optimise inventory levels and achieve targeted stock and service level objectives.
- Prepare and maintain key procurement and EXIM reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and manage vendor payments in accordance with company processes.
- Review slow-moving and obsolete stock to minimise financial impact and support overall inventory performance.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal procurement procedures.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a planning and purchasing supervisory role.
- Proven experience sourcing finished goods is essential.
- Experience working with international suppliers is required.
