About the Role
Our client’s technology team is a fast-moving agile team that cares deeply about the way they work, the way they treat each other, and the way they continuously learn together to improve delivery. As a Senior React Native Developer with specialization in both Android and iOS mobile application development, you will be a key asset in their team, leveraging your proficiency in React Native to architect, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- The Snr Developer will lead the design and development of React Native-based mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across both.
- Provide expertise in React Native frameworks, implementing best practices, and guiding the team in leveraging React Native’s capabilities for cross-platform development.
- Utilize your expertise in Android and iOS development, understanding platform-specific nuances and leveraging native functionalities when needed for optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with product team, and other developers to understand requirements, translate UI/UX designs into functional applications, and contribute innovative ideas for improved user experiences.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions to enhance application performance and scalability on both platforms.
- Address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction on Android and iOS devices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mobile development for Android and iOS, integrating relevant advancements into project workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent.
- 10+ years of Proven experience in React Native development with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile applications developed for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Expertise in Android and iOS mobile development, including familiarity with platform-specific tools, languages, and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and a track record of delivering user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting exceptional mobile experiences.
- Experience working in a cross-functional agile team.
